To Kill A Mockingbird a very good book
Can’t get anymore inspirational than the Bibile.
Try this book by Ric Warren “PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE” and by the way, purchase one also for yourself, let both of you discuss the article written in it.
Beckham is a self centered twit and was over rated all the time as well as overpaid. Just buy him a book on how to stay youthful and caring with you. Or along those lines. All the autobiography books and so on are junk and me me me. Who needs to know how one made it, it only worked because he was there at right time and so on.
Nausea by Jean-Paul Sartre
May be the best book I have ever read -
‘The Importance Of Living’ by Lin Yutang
isbn 0-688-16352-1
Said to have introduced people to the art of leaving things undone. It does not go into religion like other ‘inspirational books’ tend to do. He does go into some philosophy.
It is not truth that makes man great,
but man that makes truth great -

I was diagnosed with cancer and hepatitis c and had to go thru 3 years of chemical chemotherapy. So far the cancer is in remission but I need to go on 11 more months of chemo starting in January for the hep c. Anyway, I was looking for inspirational books, and ran into this one. Lance Armstrong, the cyclist, also has a few good books out - one about his fight against cancer but can be extrapolated to everyone else’s life.
If he’s interested in religion, and likes thrillers, maybe you could buy him “Da Vinchi’s code” written by Den Brown
Can’t wait to get to heaven by Fannie Flagg
she wrote Fried Green Tomatoes its a little feminine but it can make you look at life a little different.
“Tuesdays With Morrie” by Mitch Albom. I found this book to be very thought-provoking, funny, sad, witty, philosophical, entertaining - all in one.
Another choice might be “The Prayer of Jabez” which I haven’t read but from what I understand, it can be very life-changing.
A Walk to Remeber by Nicholas Sparks. Its not an autobiography but its a very touching book. A Walk to Remember is a love story that tells the story of Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan, two teenagers in a small southern town who eventually fall in love.
