I can only assume that you’ve never seen the US version, because they’re very different. For one, the US version has about 10 more characters than the UK version. For another, Michael Scott and David Brent are VERY different people.(Brent is way more of a prick, Micheal is very childish but means well)Other than the Tim/Dawn/Lee triangle, the storylines have been completely different. I never said the US version is better. I think they’re both good in different ways. Why so nasty and defensive?

Mate the first series was the exact same, Ricky Gervais owns the rights to the US series and as the UK series only had 2 and a half series, and the US now has more naturally the have different jokes now, but were the same at the begining.
And how can you say it’s totally different, it’s done in the same setting with the same charictors???? you must be american and think everything is better that comes outta your ass end of the world
