Where do you get your poetic inspiration?

my grandmother is in the hospital. she is very sick, but its like she is just giving up. not even trying to get better. when we talk to her its just a blank stare in return, she doesnt wanna eat or drink. she loves writing poetry so i thought if i got her some inspirational poetry it may motivate her to want to get better.
